Where we came from
While they were in high school, Hayden and Nick bought their first detailing supplies and stepped into the detailing world as a side hustle to save money for college. What started as a small car detailing business quickly grew into something much bigger. Being based in New Jersey, surrounded by marinas, boat owners, and a strong boating community, naturally led them into marine detailing as well. Before long, they were spending as much time restoring boats as they were detailing cars, and what began as a side business became a genuine passion for the craft. Every job became an opportunity to learn more about surfaces, compounds, cleaners, polishes, and the small details that make the difference between something that looks clean and something that looks professionally finished.
As their experience grew, so did their expectations for the products they used. They tested countless formulas across cars and boats, constantly searching for products that could deliver professional results while still being straightforward and consistent to use. What they kept finding was a gap between products designed for everyday consumers and products made for professional detailers. Many products were either too aggressive for the surfaces they were intended to protect, too inconsistent from one job to the next, or simply required too much trial and error to get the desired result. Nick and Hayden believed there was an opportunity to create products that brought together professional level performance, ease of use, and confidence in the finished result.
That idea eventually became the foundation for Pro Polish. Rather than simply putting another detailing product on the market, they wanted to build formulas around what they had learned firsthand in the field. They took the knowledge, experience, and resources they had gained through years of detailing and invested them into a dedicated space where they could begin testing, refining, and developing their own products. Through countless rounds of testing and formulation, that early idea evolved into Pro Polish, a brand built from a genuine love for detailing and a desire to give professionals and enthusiasts products they can trust every time they pick up a bottle.
