FAQ's
Shipping & Returns
How can I get free shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping on all orders over $75. Orders below that amount ship for a flat rate of $6.99.
How long does it take for my order to deliver?
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days and ship via UPS Ground, with an estimated 2 to 5 days in transit within the continental United States. Orders shipping to Hawaii and Alaska may take up to 7 days to arrive once shipped.
What is your return policy?
Unopened products may be returned within 30 days for a full refund, issued once the item is received and inspected. If an order arrives damaged, send us a photo within 5 days of delivery and we will replace it right away. We stand behind every bottle that leaves our facility.
Can opened or used products be returned?
Opened products are not eligible for return. Every bottle we ship is sealed, fresh, and uncontaminated, and the only way to guarantee that standard for every customer is to never resell a bottle that has left our control. This policy exists to protect the quality of what arrives at your door.
Our support does not end at checkout. If you have questions about pad selection, machine speed, pressure, or how to approach a particular gelcoat condition, we will walk you through it before and during your project. Professional results come from the right product paired with the right process, and we are glad to help you dial in both.
How do I initiate a return?
Email support@shoppropolish.com with your order number and the item you would like to return. Our team will respond with a return authorization and shipping instructions, typically the same business day.
Performance
How long will my results last?
Our Marine Oxidation Remover is a true cutting compound, so it restores the gloss in your gelcoat rather than coating over it. That restored finish holds beautifully when it is sealed and maintained. Follow with a quality wax or sealant, keep the boat covered or out of direct sun where possible, and wash with a pH balanced soap free of degreasers so your protection is not stripped prematurely.
Can your products restore faded or chalky gelcoat?
Yes. Our Marine Oxidation Remover combines cutting abrasives with polishing agents to remove even heavy oxidation and bring the original gloss back to the surface, including gelcoat that has gone chalky after seasons of sun exposure.
Will the Oxidation Remover keep oxidation from coming back?
The Oxidation Remover is a corrective product, engineered to remove oxidation rather than prevent it. Oxidation forms when UV exposure and weather attack unprotected gelcoat, so sealing the surface with a quality wax or sealant after compounding is what preserves the finish you just restored.
What makes your products different from other marine cleaners?
Every Pro Polish formula is engineered to do one job exceptionally well rather than compromise across several. Our Marine Rust Remover dissolves rust stains and runs from gelcoat, fiberglass, and painted surfaces with little scrubbing needed, and our Marine Mildew Remover lifts mildew and its staining from vinyl, canvas, and seating.
Products
How do I apply the Marine Oxidation Remover?
Start with a clean, dry, cool surface out of direct sunlight. Shake well, apply a few drops to a cutting pad, and work one small section at a time with a dual action or rotary polisher, spreading at low speed before increasing to working speed with light and even pressure. Wipe the residue away with a clean microfiber towel before it dries, inspect the section, and repeat if the oxidation is heavy. Seal the restored finish with a quality wax or sealant once the full surface is corrected.
Can I purchase Pro Polish in stores?
Pro Polish is currently sold directly through our website so we can control freshness, handling, and pricing on every bottle that ships. If you are a dealer, marina, or detailing professional interested in carrying the line, get in contact and we will start the conversation.
Are Pro Polish products safe for all boat surfaces?
Each formula is engineered for specific surfaces and performs best when used as intended. The Marine Oxidation Remover is made for gloss gelcoat, fiberglass, and painted surfaces. The Marine Rust Remover is made for gelcoat, fiberglass, and painted surfaces, and the Marine Mildew Remover is made for vinyl, canvas, and seating. We always recommend a small test spot on any surface you have not treated before.
How often should I use the Marine Mildew Remover?
Use it as soon as spotting appears, since mildew is far easier to lift before it sets into vinyl and canvas. For most owners that means treating at the start and end of the season and spot cleaning as needed, particularly on boats that sit covered or slipped in humid conditions.
